Reformer Pilates

At Strive Fitness Marrickville we offer 2 types of Reformer Pilates classes
Reformer Pilates - This total-body exercise recruits every muscle fibre in the body leading to a stronger core. It helps with joint stability and balance, and strengthens the abdominals, glutes and hamstrings.

Rerfomer Pilates circuit - is an amazing class that focuses on core strength and proper muscle engagement which improves athletic performance, back pain, injury recovery, weight loss, balance, bone density and posture. This class utilises Mats, Reformer Trapeze, Barrel and Chair apparatus.

Yoga

This class focuses on alignment of the whole body while holding poses that support the spine and bring about the awareness of breath with movement. Build your strength, mobility and endurance all while creating a feeling of calmness and balance.

Boxing

All classes will include a variety of partnered up training, shadow boxing, and footwork. You will also go through a variety of core, cardio, and strength exercises. Each class will be designed to teach professional boxing and self-defence skills.

Booty Class

This lower body class focuses on giving you the best workout for your glutes with a range of fun equipment and workout styles.

BodyWorx

BodyWorx is a HIIT (high-intensity-interval training) or BootCamp style training that is a burst of intense activities that include functional training, whole body movement and multijoint exercises to improve your body in everyday tasks.

Zumba

We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumbaยฎ Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check.

Barbell Pump

A total body workout that will burn calories, shape and tone your entire body, increase core strength and improve bone health. World leading Instructors will coach you through the scientifically-backed moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music โ€“ helping you achieve much more than on your own!

Stretching and Mobility

Stretching is a training method that improves flexibility. Mobility is a fitness attribute that is a combination of flexibility and strength.
